About Me
Grief to Gratitude
My interest in birth work came about with the loss of my first child. My daughter Ida's heart stopped beating for unknown reasons when I was 26 weeks pregnant. My experience with her birth and my postpartum period made me realize the need for Doulas. Ida's death changed the direction of my life and my grief has slowly changed to feelings of gratitude. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without her.
During Ida's birth I felt alone, scared, uninformed, and unprepared. These are feelings I don't want any other woman to experience and it is my mission to help others have a positive birth experience that is right for them.
I am here to be your advocate. I will provide you with knowledge, emotional support, and physical support throughout your perinatal journey.

I started working with Christine almost right away in my 3rd pregnancy. I was pregnant with my rainbow baby and had a 16 month old as well. I was nervous for many reasons and from the first time I talked to Christine she made me feel much calmer. I had a traumatic birth with my daughter and being able to set up a birth plan and know how to ask for what I needed was a Huge deal for me. Christine was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and kind as we worked together.
